Members

of Kappa Alpha Psi keeps up a 50 year tradition of honoring and remembering

brothers of the bond who are here and those who are members of the chapter.

The tradition began when brothers were attending the University of Illinois

and every year before returning to school, everyone met at the house of

Doc. Donald and Sam Greeenlee’s home on the far south side. Mrs. Greenlee

fed the brothers perhaps their last good home meal for quite some time

before returning to Champaign. Today the occasion is marked by remembering

the brothers who were once with us and now have joined the ancestor’s chapter.
