LASALLE BANK TO HOLD GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION AT ITS NEW AUBURN GRESHAM BRANCH AT 79TH AND HALSTED STREETS IN CHICAGO

Chicago -- LaSalle Bank will host a Grand

Opening Celebration for its 122nd full service Chicagoland branch located

at 7900 S. Halsted Street from Monday, September 18 through Saturday, September

23.

The new branch officially opens for business

on Monday, August 28 and represents an investment of more than $1.5 million

in new construction.

The Grand Opening Celebration features

a movie-related theme, "World Premiere Celebration," daily prize give-a-ways

and free popcorn. The first 100 guests to visit the new branch on Friday

and Saturday will receive a $5 Blockbuster gift certificate. On Friday,

September 22, guests can enjoy free hot dogs, potato chips and soda from

11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A clown will entertain guests on Saturday, September

23 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

"Our new Auburn Gresham branch is one of

the ways in which we are letting our customers know that we are committed

to serving the many diverse communities in Chicago," said Betty McCann,

vice president and branch manager.

The week-long celebration is free and open

to the public.

The branch is located at 7900 S. Halsted

in Chicago and can be reached by telephone at 773-488-2428. It will be

open six days a week, has drive-up banking facilities, a vestibule ATM

and a drive-up ATM. It will provide customers with retail banking, commercial

banking, lending and mortgage services. The branch will also have a LaSalle

Financial Services investment representative available for appointments

with customers who would like personal financial planning assistance and

advice.
